Enneagram: A Deeper Dive 4-Part Series (In Person)
- Thursday 02/02/2023 - Thursday 02/23/2023
- 6:00pm - 7:30pm EST
Help foster the gifts of the spirit, the "virtues" of YOU, and YOU IN RELATION to others, explored through the Enneagram.
Join the Dominican Center community for an Enneagram series.
If you have already taken an introduction to the Enneagram -- or know your type from previous study, this series of four sessions explore a deeper dive into the virtues themselves. The four successive sessions with Dr. Patrick Bishop will be experiential and communal with other participants. We will identify and explore compulsions that hold us back and the paths of growth leading to reconnection with Great Love through the gifts of the spirit. The gifts of the spirit are real, but they take intention, practice and understanding to mature.
Deep Dive - Session I
February 2, 2023 6:00 pm
We will examine the foundational elements of personality as an egoic operating system and experience how it can be transformed into the virtues of the Divine. Topics discussed will include the composition of the nine types, three triads, wing, nine levels of health, paths of integration and disintegration, inner critic, and the instinctual variants (sometimes called subtypes).
Deep Dive - Session II
February 9, 2023 6:00 pm
Grounded in the foundational material from session I, we’ll do a deep experiential dive into the gut types: 8, 9, 1. This is body wisdom, centering us in the here and now, allowing us to fully experience the power of the eternal moment.
Deep Dive - Session III
February 16, 2023 6:00 pm
Keeping in mind the gut, we move toward the heart with types 2, 3, 4. This is the wisdom of truth and the taste of actual experience. In this space we sense the oceanic depth of divine love.
Deep Dive - Session IV
February 23, 2023 6:00 pm
In our last session, we ground ourselves in the body, connect with the heart, and open the mind to learn from types 5, 6, 7. It’s a wisdom beyond words but somehow, known to be true in still, small places.
