Are You Resurrected? (Online Program)
- Monday 04/12/2021
- 10:30am - 12:00pm EST
To grow toward love, union, salvation, or enlightenment, we must be moved from Order to Disorder, and then ultimately to Reorder.
~ Richard Rohr
During our time together we will explore ...
- Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a simple light switch we could flip to move beyond the painful Good Fridays of our lives into the joy of Easter resurrection?
- Is there a natural pattern we can embrace that helps us move through the difficult periods of our lives into inner peace, balance, and wholeness?
- What does Order — Disorder — Reorder have to teach us?
If you look at Jesus’ life, he taught us this pattern of resurrection and lived it through the Paschal Mystery. For the first 33 years of his life, for the most part, there was order. He went about doing good and God was with him, writes St. Paul.
Then came the disorder of Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday. But even on the cross, Jesus pushed through the disorder by forgiving his killers and proclaiming, “Father into your hands I commend my Spirit.”
After disorder came reorder — the resurrection and Pentecost. This gave us the gift of the Holy Spirit so we could follow the life cycles of order, disorder, and reorder that Jesus lived.
During this online program, we’ll explore the pattern of order-disorder-reorder in our lives. We’ll discover how this cycle repeats itself like the four seasons. And if we’re attentive to it, we can cooperate with that cycle and grow.
We can live as resurrected people.
Registrations encouraged and all are welcome! Suggested free-will offering of $10. Gratitude abounds and much work to do!
