086-007 Feldenkrais Method ® - Awareness Through Movement ® Group Classes Jan 07, 2013-Jun 24, 2013
Lessons are verbally directed active learning exercises relating to aspects of human movement. They are designed to break up habitual patterns and instill new ways of thinking, feeling and moving. The exercises are non-judgmental, non-competitive and self-directed so that each person progresses at his or her own pace. Mats and small pillows are provided. Wear comfortable clothing. Registration is required due to space limitations.
NOTE: This class runs from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Classes are limited to 10 participants. If you do not register online, please call the DCM Front Desk at 616-454-1241 (Option 5) to make sure there is space still available. You can attend all, or selected sessions.
COST: $10.00 per class, payable at class time.

Come join us for yoga and promote the union of body, mind and spirit. Discover postures and breathing techniques that encourage cultivating strength, flexibility and balance in our bodies and lives. Susan uses a combination of Anusara yoga and some of Susan’s own moves, so it’s deep but slow. She is able to modify the Yoga as needed for each individual. Susan usually uses a block, a belt, and a blanket. Walk-ins welcome as space permits for $12.00 per session.
