This series of classes is for anyone desiring to deepen their understanding and appreciation of Dominican history and spirituality. This is a year-long, prayerful study of Dominican saints and historical and contemporary spirituality in the Dominican tradition. Dates: Sept 6, Oct 4, Nov 8, Dec 13, Jan 10, Feb 7, Mar 7, Apr 11, & May 2.Cost: $200.00 for 9 sessions. (Scholarships are available.) *CFD: Spirituality

The Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius of Loyola form a structure for encountering and loving God more deeply. This adaptation, the Ignatian Retreat in Life, feeds the hunger of our hearts with the Word of God through nine months of prayer and contemplation. Meditating with Scripture over the month’s time is then shared in a small group with a short teaching about Ignatius’s prayer methods and insights into the spiritual life. The price includes all 10 sessions.

This course is a serious reflective study of the saints and great spiritual teachers of the Christian tradition, the practice of contemplative prayer, and the writing and living of a personal Rule of Life.
Cost: $600.00 includes lunch and handouts. You may register here online with your $50.00 non-refundable deposit. The balance may be paid quarterly. If you are interested in yoga, but would like to begin gently, Chair Yoga is for you. In this class you will gently move your body using a chair to help you with flexibility, strength, and balance. Seated movements, standing/balancing poses, deep breathing and rest will be woven throughout. You will leave feeling refreshed and energized, yet calm and relaxed. Cost: $80.00 per series of 8 sessions. Walk-ins are welcome as space permits for $12.00 per session.

Walking and visiting inner spaces with the Lord, participants are going to create their Creative Journal with writing, collage, painting and other expressive languages; through meditation, praying and reflecting. An introduction to the first apostolic exhortation of Pope Francis: “a joy ever new, a joy which is shared.” This session will focus on the heart of the Gospel and the challenges of today’s world.
