Feldenkrais Method ® - Awareness Through Movement ® Group Classes (086-007) Jan 09, 2012-Jun 25, 2012

Lessons are verbally directed active learning exercises relating to aspects of human movement. They are designed to break up habitual patterns and instill new ways of thinking, feeling and moving. The exercises are non-judgmental, non-competitive and self-directed so that each person progresses at his/her own pace. Mats and small pillows provided. Wear comfortable clothing. Registration is required due to space limitations.
NOTE: This class runs from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Classes are limited to 12 participants. If you do not register online, please call to make sure there is space still available. You can attend all, or selected sessions. ($10.00 per class, payable at class time).

Grief - When Mourning Dawns (086-015) Jan 17, 2012-Feb 21, 2012

Loss and grief can challenge our sense of what is normal. Journeying through the seasons of your grief can help you learn to live again in new ways. This five-week process will give you step-by-step encouragement as you look for the light of hope. The small group will support you in your grief journey and as you seek to understand and heal the pain of your loss. Prayer, videos and shared reflection form the basis of each session.
Note: No session on February 14, 2012.

Walking in Sensible Shoes (086-046) Jan 23, 2012-Feb 13, 2012

We invite you to come take a sacred journey with Sharon Garlough Brown, author of the award-winning novel, Sensible Shoes. Sharon will lead this four-week study on the characters and spiritual formation themes of her book, while inviting readers to explore their own longings for deepening intimacy with God through prayer and other spiritual disciplines.

NOTE: Sensible Shoesis available at the DCM Bookstore for $24.95. Please come to the first of the four sessions prepared to discuss the Prologue through Chapter 11.
