our programs qualify for credit in the Catechist Certification by the Diocese of Grand Rapids. You will see a small icon like the one at right. When you mouse over the icon, a note will appear that tells you the category for which a program qualifies.

CHAIR YOGA: SPRING/SUMMER MONTHLY SESSIONS

Are you interested in yoga, but would like a gentle class to begin? Then Chair Yoga is for you. In this safe and supportive class you will gently move your body using a chair to help you cultivate flexibility, strength and balance. The chair will serve to assist you in exploring seated movements, standing/balancing poses, and as a tool to help you get up and down from the floor (should you need assistance). Deep breathing and rest will be woven throughout. You will leave feeling refreshed and energized, yet calm and relaxed. No need to be self-conscious. This is a for people who would like to know more about yoga and are reluctant to go to a general class.
Find out if chair yoga is for you. Come to one or all sessions. Cost is $10.00 per session if you register in advance online or by phone 616.514.3325. Walk-ins are welcome but price at the door is $12.00. Click on the date, or dates, below and register now. We look forward to seeing you in this new class.
